  I was informed inaccurately by Linda Doshen office and her assistant Jackie. My policy expired on 09/04, I was told I had 20 days after the policy to pay it. I was in the process of changing providers and Linda Doshen office told me not to pay because I will have my coverage before it was due from the new vendor. ( New Policy from new vendor took place on 09/22). In the past I was always given the opportunity to pay my invoice 20 days after the notice prior to a notification being sent to MVA. I received a letter from the MVA and I went to address the matter. To my surprise Linda Doshen office misinformed me. I reached out to Linda in hopes she would help me rectify the issue and she was only concerned about raising her voice and discussing her health conditions. Linda stated that if I do not stay with State farm than the grace period does not apply; it returns to the original due date which is 09/04/2014. If this was the case I would have paid my account when I called in the first time. After being a loyal customer for 13 years with Linda Doshen an agent with State farm Insurance; I was disgusted how Linda handled this situation. The lack of class, professionalism and humility was thrown out of the window; she did not allow me to speak and before I could say anything she hung up the phone on me. Her office was the cause of my problem and her rudeness was the cause of this complaint. As a result, I was force to pay the lapse coverage fee with the MVA due to a State Farm agent name Linda Doshen office dropping the ball. I would like a sincere apology from Linda Doshen and an update sent to MVA indicating that an error was made on their behalf and my vehicle was covered from 09/04/to 09/24/2014.
